Trimming Yorkie's ears on your own

Yesterday I trimmed ears of my dog alone, and it seems that I trimmed whole ears, while some areas should be left hairy ;-) no problem, we learn by making mistakes :-)

• Keep the hair around a Yorkie’s’ ears trimmed to accentuate their upright point, and for puppies, trimming this hair helps the ears to help the ears stand erect. Use clippers with a #40 blade to trim around the ears. • Trim the hair on the ears about half the way down on both the front and the back.
